HY-Plugins has released HY-Reso, a free filter effect VST plug-in for Windows. It is mostly based on the structure of MAM RS3 - a hardware Resonator box, which accepts mono-in and delivers stereo out.

The plug-in works, similar to the hardware, with three parallel chained bandpass filters. You can set each of them to a separate pass frequency, you can also set resonance and drive level, and modulate with LFO und Envelope Follower. The user interface is re-sizable and offers a preset manager.
